Tying wires to a 24-port Distribution Frame is a relatively simple but meticulous process. Here is a basic step-by-step guide:
Prepare tools and materials
Distribution frame: 24-port distribution frame
Network cable
Cable Tie
Wire knife
wire cutters
Line sticker (optional, used to identify line sequence and color)
Stripping and finishing
In the appropriate position of the network cable (usually about 2cm away from the end), use a wire knife to peel off the outer skin, remove the aluminum foil, and organize the network cable core.
If there is a cross frame in the middle of the network cable, use wire cutters to cut it off.
Three, pressing and marking
According to the color classification of the line sticker, the network cable is corresponding to the wire slot of the distribution frame according to the 568A or 568B line sequence color indication.
Press the wire into the terminal block with a wire cutter, ensuring that each wire core is firmly pressed into the wire slot.
After pressing the wire, use wire cutters to cut off the excess core.
Fourth, tie the line
Install the rear bracket of the distribution frame (if previously removed for ease of operation).
Remove the cable tie and fix the cable to the T-frame or other fixing point to ensure that the cable is neat and does not loosen.
Lock the cable ties and use wire cutters to remove excess cable ties.
V. Inspection and marking
Check that all network cables are properly crimped and secured.
Mark the wiring frame and install the label strip for subsequent management and maintenance.
VI. Precautions
Make sure that the distribution frame is installed in the appropriate position in the cabinet, usually at the bottom of the center, and fixed horizontally.
The direction of the network cable insertion crystal head should be outward to facilitate subsequent connection and operation.
During the entire process, be careful to avoid damaging the network cable and distribution frame.
Through the above steps, you can successfully complete the cable tying operation on the 24-port distribution frame. Although this process may seem simple, it requires a certain amount of patience and meticulousness to ensure the connection quality of the network cable and subsequent management and maintenance.
