blogThe installation and wiring steps of the six types of network shielding modules are as follows:
Prepare tools and materials
Six types of shielded network modules
Wire stripper
wire cutters
Wire knife (not required if it is a non-hitting module)
Category 6 shielded network cable
Dust cover (if any)
Cable ties (fixed if necessary)
Stripping and processing of shielding layers
Use a stripping knife to peel off the outer skin of the mesh wire, and the length is moderate for subsequent operation.
After exposing the inner copper mesh shielding layer, do not cut it, but roll it down, turn it over, and make a 5-6mm tightening surround after cutting the outer skin of the mesh cable. Or you can separate the shielding layer into pairs, and then rub it into one or two bundles, and then hang it on the module of the shell (the module needs to have a shielding wire hook).
Cut off the anti-drawing and cross frame inside the mesh cable.
Install dust cover (if applicable)
Put the dust cover into the network cable and prepare for subsequent discharge.
Fourth, put in the network cable and sort it.
According to the T568A/T568B line sequence standard (T568B is generally used), the network cable pairs are sequentially placed in the dust cover slot or the card slot of the module.
Let the wire pair be placed in a naturally relaxed state to avoid the formation of excessive stress.
After the four shielding layers are unfolded, the outer skin of the network cable can be wrapped in two layers, which will be used for pressing later.
Five, press the core and shielding layer
If the wire type module is used, put the network cable into the terminal seat, and press the network cable hard with the wire type knife to ensure that the copper wire of the wire core is in full contact with the card tool.
Cover the dust cover (if applicable) and press the core and shield tightly. For modules with shield hooks, hang the shield on the hooks and press tightly.
If it is a no-hit module, put the network cable directly into the card slot and press it tightly with hands or tools.
Fixing and finishing
Fasten the sheath covers on both sides (if applicable).
Use cable ties to secure the cable on the wire holder (if applicable).
Cut off the excess network cable core and shielding layer.
VII. Testing and Validation
Use the network tester to test whether the network module is connected. Connect the other end of the network cable to a module or crystal head, then use the network jumper to connect the module, and insert both ends of the network cable into the network tester. The indicator light of the tester flashes in sequence from 1 to 8, proving that this is a qualified Class 6 shielded network module.
Follow the above steps to complete the installation and wiring of the six types of shielding modules in the network. In actual operation, please ensure that the relevant safety specifications and operation guidelines are followed to ensure personal safety and normal operation of the equipment.
