  Make sure the POE switch and wireless AP or IP camera are standard POE devices.

  Carefully confirm the specifications of the purchased network cable. The quality of the network cable is crucial. Poor quality network cables may cause the device to fail to receive power or keep restarting.

  Second, the switch supports POE, the end point device does not support POE

  Connection: The POE switch is connected to the POE splitter through a network cable, which separates the power supply into data signals and power. The splitter has two output lines, one is the power output line (used to power the end point device) and the other is the network data signal output line (ie, the ordinary network cable). The power output line is connected to the power input of the end point device, and the data signal output line is connected to the network port of the end point device.

  Power output: Power output usually has voltage levels such as 5V, 9V, 12V, etc., which can match various DC input non-POE power receiving end point devices.

  The switch does not support POE, and the end point device supports POE.

  Connection: A POE power supply is connected between the switch and the end point device. The POE power supply adds power to the network cable and then tranSMits it to the end point device. This method is conducive to expanding the original cabling network without affecting the original network.

  Fourth, switches and end point devices do not support POE

  Connection: The POE power supply and the POE splitter are connected in sequence between the switch and the end point device. The POE power supply adds power to the network cable and then transmits it to the POE splitter. The POE splitter then separates the power and data signals and outputs them to the end point device respectively.

  Five, network cable connection details

  Network line sequence: T568B standard line sequence is usually used, followed by white orange, orange, white green, blue, white blue, green, white brown, brown.

  Crystal head connection method: Make sure that the metal side of the crystal head is facing up, insert the network cable into the crystal head in line sequence, and press it tightly with crimping pliers.
