Applications:
Reconstruction of old power lines and low voltage level lines.
Coastal chemical industrial areas with heavy chemical pollution.
Main Features:
- Can meet high electrical performance requirements and have excellent corrosion resistant performance.
- Applicable to coastal areas and areas with heavy pollution.
- Short-circuit current has little effect on the fiber.

Quality Control:
All the OPGW cable supplied from GL FIBER will be 100% tested before shipping. There are different general test series to assure the quality of OPGW cable, such as:

Type test: Type testing may be waived upon submission of a certificate for a similar product issued by an internationally recognized independent test organization or laboratory. If required, type tests will be conducted based on an additional procedure agreed upon by both the purchaser and the manufacturer.
Routine test: The optical attenuation coefficient of all production cables is measured according to IEC 60793-1-CIC (back-scattering technique, OTDR). Standard single-mode fibers are tested at 1310 nm and 1550 nm, while non-zero dispersion shifted single-mode (NZDS) fibers are tested at 1550 nm.
Factory test: Factory acceptance testing is performed on two samples per order in the presence of the customer or their representative. The quality characteristics are determined based on relevant standards and mutually agreed quality plans.
